Summary: This news is about the agriculture, since Polynesian voyagers first arrived on the islands bringing taro and bananas, Hawaii’s agriculture has undergone dramatic changes. We all know that Agriculture has become more science-based and high tech, so the government decided to transform agriculture for future generations. To that end, the University of Hawaii’s Leeward Community College is training students for new careers in agriculture that are grounded in science. This idea is very helpful i think.
This article is readable and acceptable for less educated people.
This is a new policy and everyone cares about the food. So future generations begin to put foot on this will have a great influence on the agriculture, and help the development of the agriculture,so this issue can catch people's attention.

summary:Learning to grow plants for our own purpose was one of the seminal events in human history. Not only did it lead to the rise of human civilisation, it also led to more populated societies. From the Incas to the Philippines, humans have transformed their environment in order to more efficiently feed themselves and their animals. Different crops are suited to different environments.Despite there being around 10,000 different species of grass on the planet, just seven of them now feed around six billion people around the world.
This article is readable and acceptable for less educated people.
From an article we can learn that crop production allows people to plan ahead, settle into villages, have larger families, and create more complex societies, then the biggest mark of our success as crop growers .

This news is about business. It was interesting for most of chinese to read it,because it proved that china’s overall national strength has been developing rapidly, especially in business field. It was easy for common people to read, and there were not many jargons in the article, just one: Android.Through graph, readers can clearly see the facts.
However,I assume,if the reporter can report different fields people’s ideas. For example, adding the common people ‘s sayings can be more persuadable, and so on.I believe that will be a wider understanding from readers.

    -JORGONS:consumer electronics

-IMPROVEMENT FOR WIDER UNDERSTANDING:The article is relatively populaire for most people. For me,who do not live in that region,it's easy to understand,so I didn't figure out how to improve for wider undertanding from readers. Rolling Eyes

Summary:News from Beijing:the price of Chinese food market is keeping rising since last two weeks, and it has tendency to keeping going up, because of production drawdown in the winter, and this will cause china’s inflation (Statement from the Ministry of Commerce onTuesday.)

This article is readale and acceptable for less educated people.

Maybe by reading this news ,people will pay more attention to their daily life ,this can force government to take some measures, we can see from the news, the reason of rising price is that we have not enough food ,maybe the government should encourage farmers by giving them more welfare and helping them rising fund. The government can also sent some experts who know agricultural technology to villages to help the farmers increasing their productivity.

HKs outward processing exports to mainland down 10%
Hong Kong's total exports to the Chinese mainland for outward processing dropped 10 percent year on year to 425.2 billion HK dollars (54.8 billion U.S. dollars) in 2009, the HK authority said on Thursday.
The Census & Statistics Department said the value of domestic exports to the mainland for outward processing fell 45 percent to 7.3 billion HK dollars (0.94 billion U.S. dollars) whereas that of re-exports to the mainland for outward processing dropped 9 percent to 417.9 billion HK dollars (53.85 billion U.S. dollars).
During the year, the value of imports from the mainland related to outward processing dropped 21 percent to 623.2 billion HK dollars (80.3 billion U.S. dollars), while 641.8 billion HK dollars (82.7 billion U.S. dollars) of Hong Kong's re-exports originally from the mainland were produced through outward processing on the mainland, down 19 percent compared the previous year.
Last year 34 percent of Hong Kong's total exports to the mainland were for outward processing. The figure was 27 percent for domestic exports and 34 percent for re-exports.
Among Hong Kong's imports from the mainland, 50 percent were for outward processing. 68 percent of HK's re-exports originally from the mainland were produced through outward processing on the mainland.

    http://www.nytimes.com/2011/11/26/business/global/banks-fear-breakup-of-the-euro-zone.html?ref=economy

    SUMMARIZE:
Some banks are no longer so sure, especially as the sovereign debt crisis threatened to ensnare Germany itself this week, when investors began to question the nation’s stature as Europe’s main pillar of stability.
Now the euro zone's economyis very weak. So many banks even gountries want to do something to change th terrible situation. People have different ideas, some think it will be worse in several years, some think it will be better.
I think the European Union will become better, it has so many powerful and rich countries, if they want to overcome the difficulties, they will do it. So, there is no need to worry about anything bad which will happen in the future.

This news is not interesting, at least I don't like it, because everything about economy is boring.

There are so many jargons in htis article.

Summary:Actually, Chinese consumers can buy luxury goods in domestic duty-free shops quite conveniently.Because of more than 50 percent of luxury purchases by Chinese consumers take place overseas, and now domestic duty-free shops are currently operating on a trial basis in the cities of Sanya and Haikou in south China's Hainan province, which can change their current business model and provide more support services. And Chinese becomes the largest portion buying luxury, so the politics on this is significant for them. As we are now developing faster than before, China will overtake Japan to produce the largest number of luxury-goods consumers in 2012. Therefore, it is an interesting news.

China’s economy was estimated to grow 8.5 percent in 2012. The main factors in stimualting economic growth are investment, cosumption and exports. The deputy director of the DRC(Development Research Center) of the Sate Council said the next year’s total consumption may higher than that of 2012. He still said that the grow economuc growth is “reasonable and acceptable”.
This article was not very interesting

Agricultural experts from the G20 countries met on September to find ways to match the latest research and technology to the growing demand for more food. It’s estimated the world’s population will grow to nine billion by 2050.

The meeting in Montpellier, France, stems from last November’s G20 summit in Seoul, South Korea. During that conference, France, Japan, Canada and Brazil were asked to focus more on food security.

In the future the government will focus on agricultural and countryside .

The United Nations estimates that world food production will have to increase by seventy percent by twenty-fifty. A world population growing in number and wealth will require one billion tons more grain each year, and two hundred million tons more meat. The Food and Agriculture Organization says those gains will have to happen largely on existing land through "sustainable intensification."
It was just apart of the news, I think it was a serious problem all over the world . we should take some measures to solve this problem. I think
We should cherish the food and have a healthy diet.
